You treated all of us like family. Thanks for all you did for us at this very sad time.......
I met Aunt Ilene in 2007, shortly after my mother Grace Koning/Vargo passed away in a nursing home just down the road from there Aunt Ilene lived. I went to visit Ilene one afternoon just to say hi and thank her for the wonderful compassion she showed my mother. Aunt Ilene and I chatted for quite some time and she invited me back anytime I was back in Michigan. Aunt Ilene and I shared some thoughts of what happened many years ago with the family and what could have and should have been. Aunt Ilene was a very caring, loving person and also very wise in her thoughts. I often think of that special day we shared together and will forever remember her kindness. In memory, I can only wish our families could have been closer and maybe soothed some of the wounds dealt to us all. I lived in Grand Rapids for over 40 years and we never had the opportunity to share our family ties. God Bless you and your family and God Bless Ilene. Ted Koning ( email@example.com )

My Deepest sympathies. She used to make me look forward to going to work at Benteler. Some major laughing. So sorry. Once again, to her family, my Deepest Sympathies.
God bless you all! Prayers from Winter Haven, Florida.
(No known relation to whomever Diane married.) I am so sorry for your loss, I was Diane's 2nd-grade teacher at East Newhall Elementary School in 1961-62. I do recall our having met at Parent Conferences. Sending my sympathy, and praying for your comfort.
Linda. My condolences to you and your family. A very long time ago, Richard and I, along with Bob MacLeod were good friends while Air Cadets in the Sault. I searched for his name on the internet tonight for what ever reason and was sadden to see his name come up in an obituary. However, there was no mistaking Richard from his picture. His wonderful smile was maintained throughout the 47 years.
Linda and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know this time is not easy for you , but know that you are being lifted up and held up in prayer through this sad time. God Bless you and know you are loved.
I worked with Tom at the Detroit Free Press. He was a gentleman and a great man to work with. I always remember his train whistle.
Dear Mary and Family, You and Russell were always such a pleasure to work with at the A.S.C.S. office. His signature was unique! We, at the office referred to him as "Mr. R Line". Our prayers for you and your family are to find the peace and comfort that only God can give during this difficult time. Take Care and God Bless. Many hugs to you all.
"Thank you so much for making mom's final journey so comforting and beautiful."
"Staff made us feel very comfortable and they were very caring. We knew we could relax because our needs would be taken care of."
"The services were exactly what my mom wanted. She would have told all of you – You did an awesome job!"
"Professional yet caring – from the minute they came to the house until finishing at the cemetery. The many things offered at funeral home made for a more comfortable atmosphere during a hard time. We did not have to worry about anything."
"I don't know why anyone would want to go to any other funeral home. I thank you all so very much."
"I’ve always recommended Cook’s as a pastor – believing Cooks to be in a class by themselves. Now ~ as a family member ~ I know from personal experience the integrity and class of Family Serving Family!!"
