JOHNSON -   William Wesley Johnson, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 14 at 7:45 a.m., with his daughter, Linda Coffee, by his side.

Originally from Southport, England, Bill will be best known for his witty sense of humor and unforgettable charm.  He studied as an apprentice in the tool and die trade in England, before coming to America in 1967.  Bill worked at McInerney Spring and Wire, and then moved to General Motors as a tool and die maker, retiring in 1999.  He enjoyed playing soccer and watching sports of all kind.  He adored his family, and was very active in his church.  Bill lit up the room with his presence, his jokes, and his British accent.  He was loved and admired by many.

Bill is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean Johnson, and children, Susan (Dean) Childers, Linda (Anthony) Coffee, Steven Ellison, Scott (Kathryn) Ellison, Kathy Lynn Ellison, and Michael Samel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many close friends and other family.
