Jeanette “Skip” Mae Faber, age 95, went to be with her heavenly Father June 2, 2017. 

Jeanette was born in Chaska, MN on May 11th 1922 to Clarence and Bee Faber.  She joined the Women’s Army Corp in September 1943.  She served in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater.  Her citations included one Bronze Battle Star for WAAC Service, three Overseas Service Bars, and a Good Conduct Medal.  She was honorably discharged in October of 1945. 

Jeanette joined the Lord’s Army September 1, 1951 and served the Lord nine years as a missionary in Curacao, Dutch Antilles.  She loved to travel to see friends and to enjoy God’s beautiful creation. 

Jeanette will be deeply missed by her family of friends. 

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Celebration Bible Church, 4690 8th Avenue SW, Grandville, with Pastor Jim Shemaria officiating.  Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Friends may gather for a time visiting Monday, June 5, 2017 from 6-8 PM at the Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, and Tuesday from 10-11 AM at the church.
